So, in 2008 we came up with the great idea of taking a guy trip for a long weekend of golf. Knowing that we had a place to crash in Diamondhead, we headed there over Memorial Day, and our annual trip was born. As you can tell the first group was fairly small, Johnny, Dylan, and I went to see Dylan’s dad, Ray, down in Mississippi. At the time, the area was still recovering from Hurricane Katrina. I was able to capture a few pictures showing the damage. On our way back home, we spent a night in Memphis and took in a Redbirds game at Autozone park. Courses played on this trip were Diamondhead Country Club, The Oaks, Great Southern Golf Club, and Gulf Hills Golf Club.
On the way to Diamondhead, you go through Kiln, MS which is the home of Brett Favre. I don’t know if anyone would have been able to figure that out or not.
