During the Summer of 2010, I chose to take a black and white film photography class for my minor. I was a little naive in my estimation of the amount of time and patience it takes to capture a photo worth printing. Being a summer class, our time frame was a little condensed, but it was nice not having to share the dark rooms with other classes. Within a given week we had to shoot a roll of film, develop it, print a contact sheet, then make prints for a review. Even though the time commitment was above average, the class was a lot of fun and I would recommend that given the opportunity, everyone should take a class like this. Below are the final prints that I turned in for my portfolio. Keep in mind that these are all film, not digital.
