7 Iron Whiff Golf Trip 2019 – Hilton Head/Kiawah Island, SC

The 2019 7 Iron Whiff Golf Trip is in the books. We crossed off a couple of bucket list courses by playing Harbour Town in Hilton Head and The Ocean Course at Kiawah Island. For those that don’t follow golf much, Harbour Town is host to an annual PGA tournament and The Ocean Course will be hosting the PGA Championship in 2021. All of the courses we played were great, the only issue this year was the scorching heat wave at Hilton Head. Three days of playing in 100 degree heat was too much for me. We saw quite a few gators while playing this year, met some good people and managed to lodge a ball or two into some trees.

Accommodations this year were at Sea Pines Resort and Kiawah Island Resort. Courses played were Atlantic Dunes and Harbour Town Golf Links at Sea Pines, Haig Point Golf Course, Palmetto Dunes Robert Trent Jones Course, Cougar Point Golf, Osprey Point Golf, and The Ocean Course.
