In August I had a work trip that was taking me to California for a week. I decided to stretch it out a little bit and my wife joined me for a few days hanging around Half Moon Bay. After that some of the 7 Iron Whiff Crew joined me for a small bucket list trip. We drove back out to Half Moon Bay and played the Ocean Course there. The next day we went and played Pacific Grove Golf Links and Poppy Hills Golf Course. We managed to stop by Pebble Beach and had lunch overlooking the 18th green. The next day was the reason for the trip, Pasatiempo. I’m not a great reviewer of golf courses, but Pasatiempo lived up to all my expectations and moved into a top 5 course for me. On our getaway day, Eric and I tried to get in 18 more holes at Bay View Golf Club. We only made it through 12 holes as the pace glacierly slow.
